Location was good, 16 miles to Noi Bai International airport, perfectly reachable. Here we were really close to few of our favorite spots such as hoa lo prison memorial. Room met expectation. Free WiFi worked flawlessly

The breakfast was good and the location was great. Within a short walk, there were lots of restaurants and bars to choose from. the room was spacious and clean.
The pillows were uncomfortable and the air conditioner was noisy. the room didn't look like the pictures I saw online.

Room 201. Well designed, comfortable interior, though slightly aged. Great bathroom, excellent shower cabin, always running hot water. Towels and sheets always clean and smell great. Proper blanket, well-sized pillows. Definitely one of the best of these little hotels I've stayed at in Hanoi. Great location. Nice staff. I didn't try the breakfast.
Door hinges desperately need to be greased to stop the squeaking. Also, my room on the first floor was relatively noisy. I found it difficult to sleep past 7am, lobby noise, people walking up and down the stairs, cleaning staff. At night some (temporary) construction was going on nearby. Street noise easily enters via the thin windows and the air vent. No elevator. Staircase carpet really run down. 3% surcharge on credit card payment.

Location was not too far from old quarters with many cabs around therefore getting to your desired place is not an issue. Close by to a cathedral where you can enjoy the church bell!
The room is lock by key and doesn't seems to be very secured.

Our family of four, including two small kids, had a wonderful stay in the heart of the city. the central location made it easy for us to find our way to all the attractions and we loved being right by the lake. the spacious room and luxurious bathroom were clean and comfortable. the staff provided exceptional service; We also enjoyed a lovely view of the nearby cathedral.
The hotel lacked an elevator, which made it difficult when carrying luggage and kids up several flights of stairs.

I recently had a great stay at a hotel in Hanoi. The location was perfect, right next to a famous church in the old quarter of the city center. It was so convenient to explore the area and try out all the delicious street food nearby. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to assist me with any questions or requests. The rooms were comfortable with good beds, and I even had a small balcony with a great view. The breakfast served every morning was delicious and had a great variety, catering to both Vietnamese and Western tastes. it was a fantastic value for money experience.
Everything was just fine, no complaints at all.

The staff are very friendly and are more than happy to help you out by giving you advice and booking a taxi for you. The hotel staff here never asked for or expected a tip for carrying luggage to your room. Location is good, can be at the lake in 5 minutes - however it takes ~10-15 to get to the side of the lake where stuff is actually built.
We got upgraded to a suite room, which we though would be amazing. However, this only lasted for the first 2 nights of our stay. Then we were literally asked to move across the back street to another hotel from the same group. This hotel was nowhere near as nice but still cost us the same per night. It also had a different breakfast menu (Which was average at both establishments). Hotel staff very pushy about you booking your Ha Long bay tour through them. Also, one day there was a plucked, raw chicken with its head still on sitting on the table, covered in flies. Very off-putting.

I stayed at Splendid Star Suites for 3 nights, and, if the room was still available, would have extended my stay further. The room was great, very spacious and modern, with flat screen tv, DVD player, and pc with good connection. The wireless connection also worked perfectly. The marble bathroom was really nice too and shower was great!. Location here was so close to all the "must seee" places in Hanoi, just a few minutes walk to the lake, and right beside historic St.Josephs Cathederal. Breakfast in the mornings was also great, with good variety to choose from. The best part about my stay here was the staff, from the moment I arrived til I left, I was greeted very warmly and kindly by all the staff, however, special mention to Hanna & Linda who were so helpful, advising me of all things to do and see around Hanoi and making some great recomendations. I really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it.
Everything was perfect for me!

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The location is fantastic, right next to the famous church in Old Quarter. Being in the top floors, our room had a great view of the surroundings. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with two double beds - perfect for families or groups of friends. The breakfast was a highlight of our stay, with a wide variety of options served in the morning. We especially enjoyed having breakfast with a great view of the city.
All was great, no improvements needed.

The room is nice and very clean, very good value for money. The staff was always very friendly and helped us in everything we needed, even when they were not staying at the hotel. One of the staff guys, Tong, has been particularly friendly and helpful at all, we are very grateful. Same for the other staff. Thank you very much to all the staff of the hotel.
